The themes of some of the socially aware shoots planned within the halfling project will require reflecting the more extreme aspects of teenage life today for example. So those working on these shoots will need a solid professional grounding in the context and aims of any individual shoot. Actors have to be prepared for strong themes in their work be it tv, film or theatre or indeed photoshoots.
If under 18 parents must also take into account the strong themes, and be happy with them.
When shooting the intro shoots I take into account attitudes towards this, there are some who I would not include because they simply are not ready. Tom seen here is a bit of a cheat, as I have worked with him since he was 13 and now he is 17. With Tom I know both his family and he understands that acting is not all glamour and I would trust him with any role. I am totally confident working with him, and he with me .
